This September, we’re proud to present our largest solo exhibition to date - DAYS OF IRE. Featuring more than a decade of work by contemporary expressionist A.J. Springer.

For over a decade, New York–based artist A.J. Springer has explored the expressive power of traditional media—drawing, painting, printmaking, and collage. Her practice merges aesthetic tradition, manual craft, and visceral emotion into a timeless, analog language, returning to the very foundations of art while pushing them into new forms.

Springer’s work often stages the body as a site of affect, tracing connections between sexuality, violence, intimacy, memory, and mortality. She deliberately dissolves the boundaries between disciplines, “cannibalizing” prints into collages, layering translucent papers, and incorporating cyanotypes and collagraphs that verge on sculpture and installation.

On view until September 27th, DAYS OF IRE presents more than 40 original artworks, ranging from large-scale paintings to intimate self portraiture. In addition, Springer will be lead printmaking lessons and demos throughout the month. (Stay tuned for more information.)
